Inaugural CNA Opportunity Fair Taking Place Tuesday, March 19th

Hancock Co., Miss. March 18, 2024 - The Hancock Health Foundation is proud to partner with Leadership Hancock County to present the Inaugural CNA Opportunity Fair. This innovative event is designed to give Certified Nursing Assistants an idea of how to advance in their careers. CNAs will be able to connect with employers, educational resources and have a forum to get acquainted with each other.

“This is a cause close to our hearts,” said Janice Jones, one of the event organizers. “So many of our loved ones have been in the care of CNAs. They’re extremely hardworking people. We wanted take an opportunity to show our appreciation for them and help them connect with the resources they need to grow in their careers.”

In addition to educational resources and networking, CNAs in attendance will have a chance to win door prizes. There will also be a scholarship raffle for one lucky attendee who is interested in advancing their education.

The CNA Opportunity Fair will be at the Pearl River Community College Hancock Center from 5 - 7 p.m. PRCC-Hancock is located at 454 Highway 90 in Waveland. Sponsorships and scholarship donations are still being accepted online at https://www.hhfms.org/cna-opportunity-fair or in person at the event. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided.
